I'm Sharon, a BACP registered and NCPS accredited counsellor and Parts Work practitioner, and I understand firsthand the challenges posed by poor mental health, including chronic anxiety, depression, chronic health conditions, and complex trauma, and have specialist training in supporting individuals in these areas.
As someone who is neurodivergent, I have personal experience and specialised training in supporting individuals with diverse neurological profiles. Rest assured that I am also LGBTQ+ affirming and accepting, honouring and respecting each person's unique identity (she/her).
In addition to my private practice counselling work, I continue to offer my counselling services to Pegasus Men's Wellbeing Charity and their Domestic Abuse services, furthering my commitment to assisting others facing mental health difficulties. I am a member of the Accredited Practitioner Register for Steps Together Rehabilitation scheme counselling patients after their in-patient care. I also do affiliate counselling work with 2wish a Bereavement Charity.
In my spare time I like being in nature and incorporating creative hobbies, such as painting and collage from pictures taken whilst in a nature environment. I also enjoy cinema and theatre with friends and family.
I am deeply committed to continuous professional development (CPD) to ensure I provide the most effective and up-to-date therapeutic approaches. My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, empowering you to find your own path to well-being.
Together, we can navigate the complexities of life and work towards a brighter, more fulfilling future.
